Deputy Commissioner commends enumerators and supervisors for achieving 100% completion of census work; Census work is crucial for the country’s planning and development: Rahul Chaba

Faridkot, June 17 (Alexander D’Souza): Faridkot Deputy Commissioner Mr. Rahul Chaba held a special meeting with the enumerators and supervisors who successfully completed 100% of the census survey work in the Kotkapura, Faridkot, and Jaito assembly constituencies. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mr. Sandeep Malhotra was also specially present on the occasion.
Census is the foundation of the country’s development:
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Rahul Chaba stated that census work is directly linked to the country’s planning and overall development; therefore, it is essential to complete it on time and with the utmost seriousness. The enumerators and supervisors of Faridkot district have completed this survey by performing their duties with dedication, hard work, and honesty, and they all deserve commendation.
Discussion on the challenges and experiences of field staff:
The Deputy Commissioner highly praised the spirit of service and dedication shown by the field staff. During the meeting, he also held detailed discussions with the staff regarding the ground-level challenges faced during the survey and their experiences, aiming to make such surveys and administrative tasks easier and more effective in the future.
Apart from Manpreet Singh from the Zila Parishad, a large number of enumerators and supervisors involved in the census were present at this special meeting.
