
Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): Students from Baba Farid Law College, Faridkot, visited the National Lok Adalat organized at the District Court. This initiative was championed by the college’s Honorable Chairman, the late Shri Inderjit Singh Khalsa, and was carried forward under the guidance of the current Chairman, Shri Simarjit Singh Sekhon, and the leadership of Principal Dr. Pankaj Kumar Garg.

The college students—Taranpreet Singh, Harpreet Kaur, Avtar Singh, Gagandeep Kaur, Tisha Arora, Jaspreet Kaur, Karanjot Kaur, Nazmeen Kaur, Riya Singla, Sumanjit Kaur, Sanjana, Muskan, and Arshpreet Singh—closely observed the proceedings of the Lok Adalat and gathered essential information under the supervision of Ms. Harbans Jassi and Ms. Parwinder Kaur. **Judges Share Their Insights with Students:**
On this occasion, various Honorable Judges apprised the students of the significance of Lok Adalats:

The judges explained to the students how Lok Adalats facilitate affordable and speedy justice for the public by enabling the quick settlement of cases-including civil disputes, family conflicts, check dishonor cases, MACT (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal) matters, and minor criminal cases—through mutual compromise.
