‘Direct Entry’ Abroad for Punjab’s Nursing Students: A Historic Move by Baba Farid University,

-Path Cleared for Travel to Germany Without IELTS; ‘Hub and Spoke’ Model to Provide a Global Platform for Youth—-
Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): A new golden era has dawned in Punjab’s nursing and healthcare sector. A visionary initiative by Prof. (Dr.) Rajiv Sood, Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), has paved the way for a ‘Global Healthcare Corridor’ for the state’s students. Under this new scheme, the youth of Punjab can now escape the clutches of middlemen and offer their services directly to hospitals in Europe.
What is the “Hub and Spoke” Model?
The University will serve as the main ‘Hub’ (center) for this entire project, while other nursing colleges across the state will connect to it as ‘Spokes.’ Through this model:
Students will receive training adhering to international standards.
They will be prepared in alignment with the healthcare systems of countries like the UK and Germany.
The entire process will be rendered completely transparent and legally sound.
Germany: No More Fear of IELTS, No Age Restrictions
The most significant feature of this initiative is for candidates aspiring to travel to Germany.
No IELTS Required: The rigorous English proficiency test (IELTS) will no longer be mandatory for traveling to Germany.
Age Limit Relaxation: Professionals up to the age of 45 can also become part of this program and build a global career.
German Language Training: Students will receive specialized training in the German language to help them adapt easily to the local environment there.
Freedom from Agents: According to Dr. Sood, the primary objective of this initiative is to put an end to the exploitation perpetrated by unscrupulous agents. “Our goal is to provide the youth of Punjab with a safe and legal pathway so that they may showcase their talents on the global stage without any fear.” — Dr. Rajiv Sood, Vice-Chancellor, BFUHS
*Expert Insights and Financial Support:*
