Faridkot: The Situation Amidst the Shortage of Gas Cylinders; Find Out When Your Agency Will Reach Your Turn:
Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): Amidst the chaos surrounding the supply of cooking gas in the district, the District Food and Supply Department (DFSO) has clarified the current situation. Currently, there are a total of 10,361 pending bookings in Faridkot, and the department, along with the gas agencies, is working continuously to clear this backlog.
Latest Agency-wise Supply Status (Monday, April 20): Inspector Pravesh Rihan of the DFSO office provided detailed information on Monday regarding the status of refill cylinder dispatches to the district’s major gas agencies. He stated that, at present, bookings made up to the following dates are being cleared:
Jain Gas Agency: Cylinders are currently being dispatched for bookings made up to April 9.
Gurindra Gas Agency: Supplies are being delivered to those who booked up to April 8.
Anand Gas Agency: Here too, bookings made up to April 8 are being cleared.
Sheikh Farid Gas Agency: The situation here is slightly better, with supplies currently being delivered for bookings made up to April 11.
Emphasis on Clearing Pending Bookings:
Inspector Pravesh Rihan stated that the department’s objective is to deliver the backlog of over 10,000 pending bookings to consumers as quickly as possible. He appealed to the public to maintain patience, assuring them that cylinders are being made available to all consumers in a sequential manner.
Note: Consumers can contact their respective agencies to ascertain the exact status of their bookings. The administration is continuously making efforts to expedite the supply chain.
