Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Acquires Three New Pick-up Trucks to Enhance Examination System Security; VC Dr. Rajeev Sood Flags Them Off… 


Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has taken a significant step towards making its examination management system more secure, transparent, and robust. The university has added three new ‘Ashok Leyland mini pick-up trucks’ to its vehicle fleet. The primary objective of these vehicles is to transport materials for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and various recruitment examinations—conducted across Punjab—to examination centers in a timely manner and with complete security.
The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Sood, flagged off these new pick-up trucks, officially inducting them into the university’s fleet.
**Enhancing Transparency and Efficiency: The Main Objective – Vice-Chancellor**
Speaking on this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Sood stated that the university is continuously upgrading its infrastructure to ensure transparency, efficiency, and excellence in examination management. These new vehicles will strengthen logistics services, enabling the successful and seamless conduct of examinations and recruitment tests throughout Punjab.
**Secure Transportation of Confidential Material**
Since the university conducts large-scale examinations across various districts of the state, maintaining the confidentiality of question papers and other essential documents is paramount. With the arrival of these new vehicles, the transportation of highly confidential examination material will become safer, more effective, and faster than ever before. The university administration is confident that this move will further expedite logistics operations related to examinations. Dignitaries present at the event:
Several senior university officials and staff members attended the flag-off ceremony, notably: Mr. Arvind Kumar (Registrar), Dr. Rajiv Joshi (Additional Registrar), Mr. Saudagar Singh (Technical Advisor), and all officials and staff from the university’s Transport Department.
