New Academic Session Begins at Baba Farid Public School;
-Commences with Recitation of Sri Japji Sahib and Ardas:

Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The new academic session at the local Baba Farid Public School commenced in a spirit of devotion and spirituality. Founded by the late Sri Inderjit Singh Khalsa and currently operating under the able guidance of the incumbent Chairman, Sri Simarjit Singh Sekhon, this institution sought the blessings of the Divine Word (Baani) to ensure a bright future for its students.
Highlights of the Religious Ceremony:
On the very first day of the session, the sacred recitation of Sri Japji Sahib and Anand Sahib was performed within the school complex. This was followed by a Kirtan Darbar (congregational singing of hymns), during which the recitation of the Divine Word imbued the entire atmosphere with tranquility and devotion.
Distinguished Guests in Attendance:
On this auspicious occasion, the Management Committee extended invitations to Sri Surinder Singh Romana, S. Narinderpal Singh Brar, Acting Principal Smt. Sukhdeep Kaur, and Acting Vice-Principal Smt. Harsimranjit Kaur. In addition to these dignitaries, coordinators from various departments, all staff members, and a large number of students paid their obeisance and listened to the Gurbani (Sikh scriptures).
Prayers for Progress and Prosperity:
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the well-being of all and for the continued progress of the school. The management and staff prayed to the Almighty that the new academic session would be filled with success for the students. Prayers were offered that the students would scale great heights in the field of education, imbibe strong moral values, and emerge as responsible citizens of society.
