8th Major Blood Donation Camp Dedicated to the Sacrifice of Martyrs-March 23rd…

Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The S. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon Memorial Welfare Society (Registered), Punjab, is organizing its 8th major blood donation camp on Monday, March 23, 2026, dedicated to the martyrdom day of the nation’s great martyrs-Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev.
Providing details, the Society’s President, Gurjit Singh Harry Dhillon, stated that this camp will be held at the Blood Bank Department of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Organizations such as the Sanjh Blood Club, Bhai Ghanaiya Youth Club, All India Kisan Union (Ekta Fateh), Bharatiya Kisan Union (Majhail), ‘Kalma De Rang’ Literary Society (Faridkot), and ‘Help for Needy’ are extending special assistance in this noble cause.

Chairman Prof. Bir Inder Saran and President Shivnath Dardi remarked that the Society organizes this camp annually in memory of the martyrs. State President Sharanjit Singh Saran, along with Rajan Dua and Sukhwinder Singh, appealed to the public-particularly the youth-to come forward in large numbers to donate blood, noting the increasing number of patients in hospitals, so that the lives of those in need may be saved.
Blood Donors and Journalists to be Honored:
Every blood donor visiting the camp will be honored by the Society with a certificate of appreciation and a memento. Additionally, the journalist community-which plays a vital role in bringing social initiatives to the attention of the public-will also be specially honored.
