Ms. Kanwalpreet Kaur Brar, Commissioner of the Faridkot Division, today conducted a comprehensive review of the functioning of the Revenue Department. During the meeting, the Commissioner emphasized that transparency and efficiency in government services must be the administration’s top priorities. The departmental officials accorded a warm welcome to the Commissioner, following which she issued key directives regarding the district’s development and matters of public interest.
Key Highlights of the Review Meeting:
Public Interest Paramount: The Commissioner directed that tasks related to the Revenue Department be disposed of on a priority basis. She stated that it is the responsibility of the officials to ensure that the general public does not have to make repeated rounds of government offices for the resolution of their legitimate matters.
Sensitivity and Conduct: Addressing the officials, she urged them to adopt a compassionate and sensitive approach while listening to the public’s grievances. Every individual visiting the office must be treated with respect.
Emphasis on Digital Governance: To further streamline the delivery of services, Ms. Brar stressed the maximum utilization of digital tools and modern technology.
