Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The issue faced by teachers in Faridkot district—who were unable to file their Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) due to various departmental tasks and government duties—will soon be resolved in the best possible and appropriate manner. This assurance was given by the District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Faridkot, Mrs. Anjana Kaushal, during a special meeting with a high-level delegation from the Master Cadre Union.
The primary agenda of the meeting, led by Master Cadre Union District President Dharminder Singh, was to ensure the timely clearance of the pending ACRs of these teachers.
Highlights of the meeting and the teachers’ challenges:
Providing details about the meeting, Master Cadre Union Punjab Vice President Mr. Jitendra Kumar Hans and State Committee Member Mr. Rajinder Kumar explained that many teachers had been continuously occupied with essential government tasks.
These tasks primarily included:
Census duty
Drug survey duty
Election duty and vote counting. Due to these significant departmental and national duties, the teachers could not file their ACRs on time, causing difficulties in subsequent departmental processes.
DEO praises teachers and assures assistance
District Education Officer Mrs. Anjana Kaushal listened attentively to the union delegation and assured them that the department would provide all possible assistance to ensure no harm comes to the teachers’ careers or service records.
On this occasion, she commended the teachers of Faridkot district, noting that they are extremely hardworking and dedicated. They are working tirelessly for the bright future of the students so that the district can gain global recognition in the field of education.
