Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The Punjab government has entrusted a significant responsibility to Haji Dilawar Hussain-a well-known social worker in the Faridkot area, President of the Muslim Welfare Society, and an active leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The government has appointed him as the District Chairman of the ‘Muslim Development Board,’ Faridkot. This important appointment was made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
Meeting with MLA Sekhon after the appointment:
Following the appointment, Haji Dilawar Hussain, accompanied by representatives of the Muslim Welfare Society, visited the residence of the local AAP MLA, Gurditt Singh Sekhon. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to the party’s National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab Affairs In-charge Manish Sisodia, State President Aman Arora, and the Board Chairman for entrusting him with this major responsibility.

“This appointment is a matter of great honor for me and also entails a significant responsibility. I will work with utmost dedication and commitment to serve as a strong link between society and the government,” said Haji Dilawar Hussain, District Chairman, Faridkot.
He further stated that he would make every effort to ensure that the issues, suggestions, and expectations of all sections of society-including the Muslim community-are raised on the appropriate platforms. Promoting social harmony, mutual brotherhood, and positive dialogue would be his top priority.
