Faridkot, April 17 (Alexander D’Souza): The ‘Inter-Professional Cricket Tournament 2026,’ organized by the Faridkot Association of Medical Students (FAMS) at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital (GGSMCH), concluded with a grand finale. During this sporting extravaganza, medical students and faculty members displayed a magnificent blend of sportsmanship and enthusiasm on the field. Exciting Matches and Results: Amidst the tournament’s fiercely contested matches, a combined team comprising faculty members, Senior Resident (SR) doctors, and Junior Resident (JR) doctors clinched the championship title, proving their technical superiority. Representing the winning team, seasoned doctors such as Dr. Sumit Jain, Dr. Gagan Bhagat, Dr. Anshul Dahuja, and Dr. Aman Sethi delivered exceptional performances. Meanwhile, the Batch of 2023 team finished as the runners-up, led by promising players like Vivek Mishra and Mayank Sharma. A combined team from the Batch of 2020 and the Batch of 2025 secured the third position in the competition.
