Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): A new Student Council was formed during the annual function at the local St. Mary’s Convent School. The program was presided over by Professor Dr. Deepak John Bhatti, Dean (College) at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
Warm welcome to the Chief Guest:
At the beginning of the function, School Manager Father Silvinos, Principal Father Benny Thomas, and Sister Sonnet welcomed the Chief Guest with flowers. Dr. Bhatti then presented sashes and badges to the newly elected Council members and administered the oath of office to them.
Emphasis on Leadership and Talent:
Addressing the students, Dr. Deepak John Bhatti said that every student is special and everyone has a hidden talent. The true role of a good leader is to identify and highlight that talent. He inspired all students to work together as a team. School Principal Father Benny Thomas thanked the chief guest, praised the performance of the previous council, and expressed hope that the new team would take the school to even greater heights.
