Speaker Sandhwa Inaugurates Irrigation Pipeline in Village Chahal,

Kotkapura/ Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwa today inaugurated a canal water pipeline for the irrigation of fields in Village Chahal. Addressing the gathering present on this occasion, he stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s government is working day and night for the welfare of every section of the state, including farmers, laborers, and traders.
Project Highlights—Cost: A sum of ₹15.71 lakh has been spent on this specific project.
Benefits: This pipeline will provide an abundant supply of water for the irrigation of hundreds of acres of land in Village Chahal and the surrounding villages.
Regional Development: Speaker Sandhwa mentioned that pipelines worth ₹9 crore have already been laid to enhance irrigation facilities within the Kotkapura Assembly constituency. Issuing strict directives to officials of the concerned department, Speaker Sandhwa asserted that no form of negligence or laxity in development works would be tolerated. He emphasized that the convenience of the general public must be given utmost priority while laying pipelines to ensure that no one faces any inconvenience.
Present on this occasion were Soil Conservation Officer Anmol Singh, SDO Rajwinder Kaur, Manpreet Dhaliwal, Mandeep Monga, Jaspreet Singh Chahal, Sarpanch Sukhdev Singh, Jagsir Chahal, Gurmeet Singh Dhurkot, Rajpal Dhudi, Jagtar Singh (Sarpanch, Khara), Goldy Brar, Sukhmander Singh, and a large number of villagers.
