Under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajiv Sood, the University has now emerged as a leading institution in the domain of robotic surgery training. During a press conference held on Monday, experts revealed that while new machinery has been installed at the University for cancer treatment, free courses have also been launched to provide employment opportunities for the youth. Robotic Simulator Facility at No Cost to the Government:
Dr. Saurabh Sinha, Nodal Officer of the Urology Department, and Onco-surgeon Dr. Rohit Jindal stated that a state-of-the-art ‘Robotic Surgery Simulator’ machine—donated by the ICICI Foundation-has been successfully installed. This installation incurred no financial cost to the government.
