International Women’s Day: Deputy Commissioner Honors Female BLOs for Outstanding Service—-

Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): In accordance with the directives of the Election Commission of India and the Chief Election Officer, Punjab, during a special program dedicated to International Women’s Day, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Madam Poonamdeep Kaur, honored female Booth Level Officers (BLOs) with certificates of appreciation for their outstanding service in the election process.
The Honorees:
The female BLOs selected from various Assembly constituencies of the district, who demonstrated exceptional dedication during their duties, are as follows:
Election Area 87-Faridkot: Mrs. Beant Kaur, Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur, and Mrs. Karamjit Kaur.
Election Area 88-Kot Kapura: Mrs. Veerpal, Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur, and Mrs. Veerpal Kaur. Constituency 89-Jaito: Mrs. Manmohan Kaur, Mrs. Harmandeep Kaur, and Mrs. Sukhbir Kaur.

Addressing the felicitation ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur said that in today’s world, women are proving their mettle in every field. She added that the contribution of female BLOs in making the election process transparent and smooth is highly commendable. Their honesty and hard work will serve as an inspiration for other women.
