Faridkot, June 9 (Alexander D’Souza): A dignified ceremony was organized at the local Government Barjindra College by the ‘Mahakal Swarg Dham Seva Society’ (Registered), Faridkot, to welcome, congratulate, and honor the college’s newly appointed Principal, Dr. Pooja Bhalla. Held on the college campus, this grand event was conducted under the able leadership of the Society’s President, Dr. Baljit Sharma Golewala, and Chairman, Ashok Bhatnagar. On this special occasion, Dr. Parminder Singh—a former Principal of the same college and the Society’s General Secretary, currently based in the USA—also conveyed his best wishes and congratulations to Dr. Bhalla through the organization’s members. During the ceremony, senior office-bearers of the Society briefed Principal Dr. Pooja Bhalla in detail about the various social welfare activities being undertaken by the organization. Key figures present included Harjinder Singh (Retired DSP, Senior Vice President), Inderjit Singh Brar (Press Secretary), Surinder Singh Kohli (Retired Superintendent, Patron), and K.P. Singh Saran (Executive Member). The speakers highly praised Dr. Bhalla’s administrative and academic credentials.
