Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): Under the able leadership of Shri Om Prakash Bohat, the All-India General Secretary of the Bharatiya Valmiki Dharma Samaj (BhaVadhaS), the entire team of the BhaVadhaS Faridkot district unit held a special courtesy meeting with the newly appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Faridkot, S. Gurbans Singh Bains. On this occasion, the organization warmly welcomed SSP Bains upon his assuming charge in Faridkot and extended heartfelt congratulations.
Organization dedicated to public welfare and communal harmony:
During the meeting, Shri Om Prakash Bohat briefed the SSP in detail about the social, religious, and public welfare activities undertaken by BhaVadhaS for the betterment of the country and society. He stated that the organization has always been committed to fostering communal harmony and a positive mindset among the youth. He assured that the organization would continue to contribute fully to public interest initiatives in collaboration with the district and police administrations.
Meanwhile, District President Veer Kishore Nagvansh expressed hope that under the capable leadership of S. Gurbans Singh Bains, the district’s law and order situation would be further strengthened, and public trust in the police administration would increase.
Call to youth to shun drugs and embrace education:
On this special occasion, District General Secretary Shri Jitendra Kumar Hans made an impassioned appeal to the youth, stating that education and good values form the true foundation of the nation’s progress. He emphasized that the need of the hour is for the youth to stay completely away from social evils like drug abuse. He urged them to focus on their education, health, and service to the nation so that they could bring glory to their families and the country. Discussion on key issues with DSP Jagtar Singh:
Deputy District President Satpal Paul, District Press Secretary Ravi Kumar, and City President Haridas stated that following a meeting with the SSP, the BHAVADHAS team held a special meeting with Faridkot DSP S. Jagtar Singh. During this session, meaningful discussions took place regarding social welfare, the anti-drug campaign, and several other critical issues concerning the public interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Senior Advisor Mintu Gandhi stated that the BHAVADHAS leaders assured the police administration that the organization would work shoulder-to-shoulder with the police to foster social awareness and eradicate social evils.
