Faridkot, April 23 (Alexander D’Souza): A crucial meeting of the district unit leaders of the ATK, the Class IV Government Employees Union, and the Punjab Subordinate Services Federation (1680, Sector 22-B, Chandigarh) was held in the park situated in front of the local Deputy Commissioner’s office, presided over by state leader Prem Chawla. During this meeting, it was resolved that May 1st—International Labour Day—would be celebrated with immense enthusiasm and a revolutionary spirit.
Condemnation of the Governments’ Anti-People Policies:
Addressing the gathering, employee leaders Balkar Singh Sahota, Ramesh Dhapai, Paramjit Singh Pamma, Ram Singh, Kulwant Singh Chani, and Sukhjinder Singh Tumbarbhan launched scathing attacks on the policies of the Modi-led Central Government and the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government. The leaders asserted that, under pressure from corporate houses, both governments are consistently adopting anti-people and anti-employee policies, thereby making life increasingly difficult for the working class.

Following the flag-hoisting ceremonies, a major joint rally—organized under the banner of the ‘Punjab Employees and Pensioners Joint Front’—will be held at the Faridkot Bus Stand at 11:00 AM. During this rally, participants will pay homage to the sacrifices of the great martyrs of Chicago and pledge to intensify their struggle to safeguard their rights. Other Leaders Present:
