Daughters of Faridkot Hoist Flags of Success Across Punjab: Deputy Commissioner Honors Them with Checks of ₹11,000 Each…


Faridkot, April 16 (Alexander D’Souza): Promising female students from the Faridkot district have brought glory to the district’s name across the entire state through their results in the Class 8 examinations. To encourage these meritorious students, the Deputy Commissioner of Faridkot, Ms. Poonamdeep Kaur (IAS), specially honored them today. The Deputy Commissioner presented checks worth ₹11,000 and Letters of Appreciation to the students who delivered such stellar performances. The district’s proud achievements-these students have firmly established their mettle at the Punjab state level.
Student Names, School Details, Achievements, and Marks: Tamanna (Saraswati Secondary School, Jaito) secured the 1st position in Punjab with 600/600 marks; Jashandeep Kaur (Sant Mohan Das School, Kot Sukhia) secured the 3rd position in Punjab with 598/600 marks; Manpreet Kaur (SSS Panjgrain Kalan) delivered an outstanding performance at the district level with 585/600 marks; and Muskan Preet Kaur (Government High School, Dhimawali) also delivered an outstanding performance at the district level, securing 585/600 marks.
“Hard Work is the Key to Success”: Deputy Commissioner
While congratulating the students during the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the hard work and dedication of these children have proven that if one possesses strong determination, any goal can be achieved. “These talented students serve as a source of inspiration for other children.” Madam Poonamdeep Kaur also attributed this success to the students’ parents and teachers, crediting their proper guidance for enabling these children to reach this milestone today. Dignitaries present at the ceremony included District Education Officer Madam Anjana Consal, Jasbir Singh Jassi, Principal Deepak Kumar, Headmaster Ravinder Singh, Sony Thapar, and Kusum Kalra; they were joined by school staff and parents. The parents of the students lauded this initiative by the district administration and expressed their gratitude to the administration.
