Amritsar, June 10, (Alexander Dsouza): An important district-level delegation meeting of the ‘Christian National Front’ (CNF) was held in Thatti village of the Rajasansi constituency. Lawrence Chaudhary, the National President of the Front, attended as the chief guest at the meeting, which was presided over by District President Pastor Gora Masih.
A large number of delegates gathered at the meeting and deliberated deeply on several critical issues concerning the Christian community. Key topics discussed in detail included the availability of land for graveyards, strengthening the organization, reservation, higher education for children, employment for educated youth, housing for the homeless, the formation of a Christian Regiment, pilgrimages to Jerusalem, and current challenges facing churches.

On this occasion, new appointments were made to expand the organization, decided by consensus:
District Youth Committee: Ankush Pradhan, Bittu, Vansh, and Arsh were selected as members.
Village Unit (9-member):
President: Satpal Masih
Vice President: Paramjit Masih
Secretary: Ranjeet
Treasurer: Lavpreet
Members: Sandeep, Goldy, Resham, Amandeep, and John Masih.
National President Lawrence Chaudhary honored all the new office-bearers by presenting them with *Siropas* (robes of honor) and appointment letters.
Must follow the principle: ‘Do not be beggars; become rulers yourselves’
Addressing the meeting, National President Lawrence Chaudhary cited history, noting that even after spending 25 generations (approximately 450 years) in slavery in Egypt, the primary reason the people of Israel failed to learn certain lessons was due to falsehoods and the cravings of the palate. Urging the community to become politically conscious, he noted that while their ancestors kept switching political parties in the hope of securing their rights, no party has granted them their true entitlements even 79 years after independence. He emphasized that the time has come to step into the political arena independently—shedding reliance on crutches—and to gain representation in the Legislative Assembly and Parliament. Recalling the historic words of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar—”Do not be beggars; become rulers yourselves”—he stated that the CNF is spearheading an awareness campaign based on this very principle, establishing units across Punjab’s 117 constituencies, approximately 250 blocks, and 1,500 villages. The Front’s primary objective is to unite the minority and Dalit communities of Punjab on a strong political platform.
This special meeting was attended by a large number of local pastors and sisters, alongside Stephen Sahota (General Secretary, Punjab), renowned Christian singer Paris Gill, Sikandar Daniel, Aman, Emmanuel, Vijay Masih, Raman Khosla, and Rahula.
