Punjab State Minorities Commission Chairman Jatinder Masih Gaurav Takes Strict Action: SHO Ferozepur City, SHO Shahkot, and Several Other Officers Appear Before Commission
Mohali, May 20 (Alexander D’Souza): Jatinder Masih Gaurav, Chairman of the Punjab State Minorities Commission, took significant and decisive action today at his office located here in Mohali. The Chairman sternly summoned those police officers who had failed to take timely action on complaints and applications submitted by members of the minority community. The officers summoned included the SHO of Ferozepur City, the SHO of Shahkot, and several other police officials involved in various distinct cases.
Orders Issued on the Spot; Victims Receive Immediate Justice
Adopting a firm stance during the hearing, Chairman Jatinder Masih Gaurav issued necessary directives to the concerned police officials right on the spot and ensured the immediate resolution of the victims’ grievances. This swift and rigorous action by the Commission brought smiles to the faces of victim families who had long been wandering in search of justice. Breathing a sigh of relief, they expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman.

Complainants Arrive at Office; High-Level Inquiries Ordered
During this proceeding, a large number of people from various parts of Punjab appeared before the Chairman, presenting their respective complaints and petitions. Given the sensitive nature of the cases, Chairman Gaurav listened to all complaints with the utmost seriousness and, in several instances, immediately ordered high-level inquiries. He assured the general public that no injustice would be allowed to befall any citizen in the state, and that everyone would receive equal rights under the rule of law.
