Successful Blood Donation Camp Organized at Baba Farid Law College; Tribute Paid to the Late Inderjit Singh Khalsa:

Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): Carrying forward the visionary outlook and legacy of the Honorable Chairman, the late Shri Inderjit Singh Khalsa, a massive blood donation camp was organized at Baba Farid Law College, Faridkot. This camp was successfully concluded under the expert guidance of Shri Simarjit Singh Sekhon and Principal Dr. Pankaj Kumar Garg, with the cooperation of NSS Program Officer Dr. Mohan Singh Saggu.
The entire event was dedicated to the memory of the late Shri Inderjit Singh Khalsa.
Inauguration by Distinguished Guests:
The camp was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Shri Gurjap Singh Sekhon (General Secretary). Addressing the students and volunteers on this occasion, he stated that blood donation is truly a ‘supreme act of charity’ (*Mahadan*). He urged the youth of Punjab to participate enthusiastically in such initiatives so that no life is lost due to a shortage of blood, and timely assistance can be provided to those in need.
Unveiling of a New Van for Social Service:
A special highlight of this camp was the donation of a mobile van by Kotak Mahindra Bank to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. The objective of this van is to travel to remote villages and organize blood donation camps. This van was also inaugurated by Shri Gurjap Singh Sekhon.

Principal Dr. Pankaj Kumar Garg: Encouraging the students, he remarked that there is no humanitarian act greater than blood donation, as it possesses the power to grant a new lease on life to an individual.
Dr. Mohan Singh Saggu (NSS Officer): He informed that, in accordance with the guidelines of Punjabi University, Patiala, the college consistently remains at the forefront of such social initiatives; every year, the college’s volunteers fulfill their civic duty by donating blood in large numbers.
