Special Camp to be Held Tomorrow Under RAMP Scheme to Foster Youth Entrepreneurship,

Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The Punjab government has undertaken a significant initiative to enhance entrepreneurial skills among the state’s youth and to boost industrial development. Under the RAMP scheme—aimed at capacity building for MSMEs—a special camp is being organized in Faridkot on March 27. Sharing details regarding this initiative, the local MLA, S. Gurditt Singh Sekhon, has appealed to the youth to take full advantage of this opportunity.
Camp Details and Timing:
MLA Sekhon informed that the camp will commence on March 27 at 2:00 PM at the District Administrative Complex. The primary objective of this program is to raise awareness among both new and existing entrepreneurs regarding various government facilities and schemes.
Experts to Provide Information on Loans and Subsidies:
Highlighting the key features of the camp, he stated:-
Experts from the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA), Chandigarh, will participate in the event. Detailed information will be provided regarding every loan and subsidy-whether small or large-scale-being offered by the Punjab government.
-Youth will be guided on the technical and financial assistance available to help them establish new businesses.
“The Punjab government is committed to transforming the youth from mere job seekers into job providers (entrepreneurs). I appeal to the youth to attend this camp, gather information about government schemes, and become self-reliant,” said S. Gurditt Singh Sekhon, MLA, Faridkot.
MLA Sekhon reiterated that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the government is continuously creating new employment opportunities to strengthen the state’s industrial infrastructure.
