Faridkot/Jaito, July 6 (Alexander D’Souza): Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Hardeep Singh Mundian held a special meeting today with the newly elected President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, and all councilors of the Jaito Municipal Council. On this occasion, he congratulated and extended his best wishes to the newly elected team.
In the recently held elections, Mrs. Nirmala Devi was elected President, Mr. Harish Chander as Senior Vice President, and Mr. Narinderpal Singh as Vice President of the Municipal Council.
Committed to all-round development under the leadership of Chief Minister Mann:
Addressing the meeting, Cabinet Minister S. Hardeep Singh Mundian stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is fully committed to the all-round development of the state’s cities. He expressed confidence that the new Municipal Council team, the constituency MLA, and the Punjab government would work in coordination to further accelerate the development of Jaito city.
Instructing the newly elected councilors, the Cabinet Minister emphasized maintaining constant, direct contact with the public.
Public grievances should be resolved on a priority basis.
The Punjab government will ensure there is no shortage of funds or resources for the timely completion of pending development works in the city.

Jaito constituency MLA S. Amolak Singh also congratulated the newly elected office-bearers. He clarified that although the President and Vice Presidents have been elected, all 17 councilors of the Municipal Council hold equal importance for him. Every councilor is a representative of the public, and everyone’s contribution will be vital to the city’s progress. The MLA expressed hope that this new, experienced, and dedicated team would fully live up to the people’s expectations.
