The annual ‘Jod Mela’ (congregational fair) of Baba Kala Mehar Ji was celebrated with immense reverence and enthusiasm in the nearby village of Beer Sikh Wala. On this occasion, the Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly, S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, attended as a special guest, paid his obeisance, and sought blessings.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Sandhwan stated that such religious and heritage fairs serve as the hallmark of our rich culture. He emphasized that religious fairs are not merely centers of our faith, but also play a pivotal role in fostering mutual brotherhood and unity within society.
