Key decisions at Lord Buddha Charitable Trust meeting; warm welcome for two new members…

Faridkot, June 11 (Alexander D’Souza): A special meeting of the Lord Buddha Charitable Trust (LBCT) was held today at Hotel Aroma on Kotkapura Road, presided over by District President D.P.S. Bhola. The Trust’s founder, Jagdish Rai Dhosiwal, specially attended the meeting.
During the meeting, significant decisions were made to accelerate the Trust’s social service activities and to launch a special campaign to increase membership.
Two new faces join the organization
On this special occasion, retired bank manager Nirmal Singh Sandhu and Ms. Mahinder Kaur—who has long been active in the field of social service—joined the Trust. Senior office-bearers of the Trust extended a warm welcome to the two new members by presenting them with bouquets.
The Trust’s Chief Patron and retired Naib Tehsildar, Ms. Heeravati, and Chief Advisor Shri Krishna R.A. could not attend the meeting due to pre-scheduled family commitments. However, they contacted Shri Dhosiwal and Shri Bhola via phone to convey their best wishes and congratulations to the new members joining the organization.

The newly inducted members also expressed their gratitude to the organization, stating that they were proud to be associated with the Trust and pledged to discharge every responsibility with utmost sincerity.
Key decisions of the meeting
To make the Trust’s operations more transparent and efficient, the following important decisions were taken during the meeting:
Mandatory monthly meeting: It has been made mandatory to hold a meeting once a month to continuously review the organization’s activities. Special meetings may also be convened if the need arises.
Financial arrangements: Press Secretary K.P.S. According to a press release issued by the organization, a unanimous decision was taken during the meeting to collect an annual registration fee and monthly contributions from all members.
Dignitaries Present
Several dignitaries attended the meeting, including District Chairman Dr. Harpal Singh, Senior Vice President Er. Ramesh Kumar, Legal Advisor Advocate Pradeep Singh Atwal, senior women leaders Ms. Manju Sukhija and Vishwadeep Kaur, and Narinder Kaka. Refreshments were arranged for all attendees at the conclusion of the meeting.
