Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The Mahakal Swarg Dham Seva Society (Regd.), Faridkot, accorded a warm welcome to the district’s newly appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sardar Gurbans Singh Bains, and honored him at a special ceremony.
A delegation led by Society President Dr. Baljit Sharma Golewala and Chairman Ashok Bhatnagar met SSP Bains at the local secretariat. During the meeting, the SSP was honored with a shawl (*dushala*), a robe of honor (*siropa*), and a commemorative memento to mark his arrival on the sacred land sanctified by the footsteps of Baba Farid Ji.
Assurance of Full Cooperation with the Administration in Social Service:
During the meeting, Society Vice President and retired DSP Harjinder Singh, Muslim Welfare Board President Dilawar Hussain, and President Dr. Baljit Sharma briefed the SSP in detail about the various religious and social service activities being undertaken by the Society. They assured him that the Society stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the district administration in social welfare endeavors and remains ready to provide all possible cooperation in the future.
