Faridkot, May 16 (Alexander D’Souza): Preparations have been intensified by the State Election Commission, Punjab, to conduct the upcoming Municipal Council Elections-2026 in a free, fair, and transparent manner. In this regard, the Commission has appointed senior IAS officer Mr. Rubinderjit Singh Brar as the Election Observer for Faridkot district. The administrative machinery in the district is fully geared up to ensure the peaceful completion of the electoral process. Deployment of Assistant Liaison Officer: Sharing important information in this context, District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Rahul Kumar Chaba stated that, to assist the Election Observer and ensure smooth coordination, the Sub-Divisional Officer (Drainage), Faridkot, has been appointed as the Assistant Liaison Officer.
