Faridkot, March 27 (Alexander D’Souza): Sarabjit Singh Brar today assumed the office of Chairman of the Faridkot Block Samiti at the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) office. On this occasion, a path (recitation) of Sri Sukhmani Sahib was performed to offer gratitude to the Guru Sahib. Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Faridkot MLA Gurdit Singh Sekhon, and Jaito MLA Amolak Singh specially attended this religious ceremony and extended their best wishes to the new Chairman.
Development Works to Gain Momentum:
Addressing the gathering, Speaker Sandhwan stated that the Punjab government is fully prepared to transform the landscape of villages and to rapidly implement development projects in accordance with the people’s expectations. He expressed hope that S. Brar would play a pivotal role in resolving the people’s issues at the Panchayat level.
We Will Ensure Government Scheme Benefits Reach Every Household: MLA Sekhon
MLAs Gurdit Singh Sekhon and Amolak Singh affirmed that their primary priority is to ensure that the benefits of the public welfare schemes launched by the Punjab government reach every eligible individual. They further stated that there would be no shortage of funds for the development of the villages.
