Medical Practitioners Association Meeting: Indications of Major Decisions on Registration Issue Soon
Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The monthly meeting of the Medical Practitioners Association (Regd.), Punjab—Faridkot Block—was held at the local Officers’ Club, presided over by Block President Dr. Amritpal Singh Tehna. Notably, District President Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu and District Cashier Dr. Prem Dhuri attended the meeting and engaged in discussions regarding organizational matters.
Registration Issue Under Government Consideration:
Addressing the meeting, District President Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu stated that the Association has long been bringing the issue of the registration of medical practitioners to the attention of the government. He indicated that the Association is in constant contact with the Health Department regarding this matter, and a significant and meaningful decision is expected soon. He added that, in accordance with decisions taken at the state level, a new strategy would be formulated in the coming days to ensure that no member faces any difficulties while practicing. Emphasis on Ethical Practice and Integrity:
Block President Dr. Amritpal Singh Tehna appealed to all members to continue their practice with integrity and a commitment to hygiene, keeping the public interest in mind. He assured them that should any member encounter any difficulties, they could immediately contact the Block or Executive team, as the organization stands firmly behind them.

During the meeting, a team comprising Ms. Inderjit Kaur and Mr. Jaspreet Singh from CRL Diagnostic Centre, Delhi, along with Mr. Atul Goyal—owner of Goyal Diagnostic Centre, Faridkot—and his team, were in attendance. They shared detailed information regarding the modern medical facilities and various diagnostic tests offered by their respective centers.
