Shooting Wrapped for Short Films ‘Dhatte Khooh’ and ‘Bahu Bali 2’; A Unique Blend of Social Message and Comedy Awaits…

Faridkot (Alexander D’Souza): The shooting for two new short films, ‘Dhatte Khooh’ and ‘Bahu Bali 2’—directed by the renowned Punjabi film industry (Pollywood) writer, director, and actor Chhinda Singh Chhinda—has been successfully completed. Woven with a blend of excellent social messages and comedy, these films are ready for release to the audience soon.
Both films will hold a mirror to society: Ranjeet Bitta
Sharing details, the film’s assistant director and actor Ranjeet Bitta stated that while these short films will convey a beautiful and meaningful message to society, they will also succeed in evoking emotions and making the audience laugh heartily.
Ranjeet Bitta also revealed that following these short films, they are set to begin work on a major feature film featuring several stalwarts and famous faces of Pollywood in lead roles.
Chhinda Singh Chhinda: An Exemplar of Struggle and Artistry
Director Chhinda Singh Chhinda has endured a long journey of struggle, dedicating his life to theatre and cinema. He is also an accomplished writer, with nearly half a dozen books published to his name. Beyond the arts, he is equally active regarding social issues; he played a pivotal role on the front lines of the historic farmers’ protest. Ranjeet Bitta praised Chhinda Singh’s tireless efforts and wished him continued success.

Several prominent artists from the Punjabi industry have showcased their acting prowess in these two short films, most notably:
Salim Akhtar (renowned folk singer), Shivnath Dardi, Asis Kumar, Gurvinder Kaur (actress), Mamta Dardi, Navdeep Kaur Gagan, and Manu Bhatti. The films’ beautiful visuals have been captured artistically by cameraman and video editor Gursangeet Singh.
