Ferozepur (Alexander D’Souza): Marking a milestone in the realm of healthcare services for residents of the border region, the local Francis Newton (Mission) Hospital has launched specialized OPD services in collaboration with the Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana. Now, patients from four districts—Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, and Sri Muktsar Sahib-will no longer have to undertake long journeys to Ludhiana or other metropolitan cities for the treatment of serious ailments.
Panel of Specialist Doctors and Schedule:
According to the hospital management, renowned specialists from Ludhiana will provide their services every Friday.
The specialists for the respective departments are as follows:
Cardiology: Dr. Kiran Kumar (DM, Cardiologist).
Neurology: Dr. Vineet Jaison (DM, Neurologist).
Ophthalmology: Dr. Nitin Batra (MS, Eye Specialist).
The OPD timings for the specialists in the above-mentioned departments will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM every Friday.
Additionally, the hospital will host daily OPD services for Dentistry by Dr. Leah Jenisha (Dental Specialist), available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This initiative by Mission Hospital serves as a true boon, particularly for those patients who were previously unable to travel out of the region due to financial or physical constraints.
