Grand Welcome for Newly Appointed Pastor, Rev. Dr. Sarwan Masih, at CNI Church, Ferozepur City
Faridkot/Ferozepur (Alexander D’Souza): A special and dignified welcome ceremony was organized at the CNI (Church of North India) Church in Ferozepur City. During this ceremony, the newly appointed Presbyter-in-Charge, Rev. Dr. Sarwan Masih, was welcomed with immense warmth and enthusiasm by the various church committees and the entire Christian community.
This dignified ceremony commenced with readings from the Holy Bible. During the program, the Pastorate Committee, WFSC, Sunday School, Youth Wing, and the entire church congregation united to present bouquets of flowers to the new Pastor and honored him by draping a shawl over his shoulders. The youth and children of the church further enlivened the atmosphere by singing welcome songs.
A Message of Love and Unity:
Addressing the congregation on this occasion, the newly appointed Presbyter-in-Charge, Rev. Dr. Sarwan Masih, expressed his gratitude to the congregation and, citing the Holy Scriptures, stated: “Do everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14). He emphasized that mutual love and unity are paramount for the advancement of the church, social service, and for furthering the work of the Lord.
Congregation Pledges Support:
At the conclusion of the ceremony, office-bearers from the church’s Pastorate Committee and other wings assured Rev. Dr. Sarwan Masih that the entire congregation would extend their wholehearted cooperation in every church activity and in the mission of social welfare. A large number of members of the Christian community and dignitaries were present on this occasion. Everyone offered prayers for a successful tenure for the new Pastor.
